Since each class is connected to the next\, plan to attend all sessions in sequence. \nWith Raja Yoga Meditation you can throw off the old patterns of influence and recreate yourself to be how you want to be. That is the power of Raja Yoga. \nThis ancient meditation practice harnesses your natural powers and trains your mind to be your friend. You are not your mind; you are not your body. You have a mind and you have a body. These ‘tools’ sometimes work well and at other times may need calm and exercise to get back to a healthy path. \nRaja Yoga teaches us to step back and observe life\, take a calm breath\, cool our senses and reactions\, and step forward in the way we choose to respond – independent of others urging us to think or act as they wish. Raja Yoga releases the power to respond with love by introducing the spiritual identity of the soul and how our daily actions and choices influence the main functions of the soul – the mind\, intellect\, and impressions. The power of thought will also be introduced and how this power may bring harmony and build better relationships in our lives. Methods will also be explored to understand and connect with the unconditional love of the Source. When we keep ourselves full\, we have so much more to give others! \nNo prerequisite required.

She also facilitates sessions in Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Centers\, where she offers accessible\, reflective approaches to self-awareness\, emotional regulation\, and inner stability.\nBeyond her professional roles\, Sylvia is a single mother of three children. Through her consistent practice of yoga\, meditation\, and spiritual study\, she maintains a grounded balance between family life\, professional service\, and inner growth\, while nurturing harmony within herself and in her relationships with others. Deeply inspired by the principle of world transformation through self-transformation\, Sylvia’s current focus is to support individuals in reconnecting with their inner strength and clarity\, physically\, mentally\, energetically and vibrationally. She received her degree in Biotechnology and Physical Chemistry from CalPoly Pomona\, followed by research on brain & memory at University of California\, Los Angeles (UCLA) as well as Melanoma Cancer Research. In 2015\, she quit her job and surrendered her time\, mind and energy entirely for spiritual service through the Los Angeles Chapter of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization.
