We all know the phrase “you are what you eat”. In this rich and insightful conversation, we discuss the subtle impacts that food has on our thoughts and emotions.
Our presenter for this very intriguing conversation is BK Sister Vinothini Sivasamy also known as Vino. Originally from Malaysia, Sister Vino received her degree in Biotechnology from California Polytechnic University of Pomona and soon after, worked for over 8 years in the Research Field – Brain Research on Memory and Cancer research on finding vaccine for Melanoma as well as Tuberculosis.
Although, sister Vino was literally born into the Brahma Kumaris way of living and spiritual knowledge, and an active spiritual student and server in Malaysia and in USA, it wasn’t until 5 years ago that she completely surrendered her time, mind and energy to live in and serve through the Los Angeles Chapter of the Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Meditation Center. Having a blend of science and spirituality, Sister Vino is able to relate easily and naturally to people from various backgrounds.
Sister Vino had worked with kids, teenagers and young adults; creating workshops, dialogues and seminars to inspire them in reaching their highest potentials.
Sister Vino also represents Brahma Kumaris at Interfaith Association of Southern California in general and the Los Angeles County in particular in all the meetings and celebrations.
