Our special speaker for this insightful dialogue is Sona Bahri.  Sona has been practicing and teaching meditation for 28+ years. Her teaching experience spans UK, UAE, Italy, Spain, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, India, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Turkey, Azerbaijan, South Africa, Egypt, Canada, Iceland and USA. Sona held the role of Retreat Centre Coordinator for the Centre for Spiritual Learning, a large 132 acre property in the Blue Mountains, Sydney, Australia from 2001 to 2006. In this role she was responsible for planning and managing weekend retreats for up to 120 guests as well as management of the entire property and liaison with the local community at various levels.  Since March 2008, Sona has been teaching meditation in Abu Dhabi, both in the corporate environment and to individuals. She currently holds the position of Director – Inner Space Centre, Abu Dhabi and is responsible for the day to day management of Inner Space Centre’s affairs. Sona has delivered workshops and seminars on a range of different topics from mindfulness & meditation to stress management and interpersonal relationships and communication. Sona learned meditation during her teenage years and was amazed at how quickly and effectively it enhanced her ability to focus and absorb information. Since then she has refined her personal practice and built it upon a strong foundation from which she delivers wisdom and easy-to implement skills to create strong minds and clear intellects. Trained as a professional translator and interpreter, Sona speaks seven languages.
