Sister Vinothini (Vino) Sivasamy learned meditation with the Brahma Kumaris from the age of 5 and is actively engaged in teaching spiritual knowledge in both Malaysia and the United States. She received her degree in biotechnology & physical chemistry from CalPoly Pomona, followed by research on brain & memory at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as well as melanoma cancer research. In 2015, she quit her job and surrendered her time, mind and energy entirely for spiritual service through the Los Angeles chapter of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization. Sister Vinothini is also a Board member of the Interfaith Association of Southern California where she represents the Brahma Kumaris in teaching meditation and giving talks at various inter-religious programs.
